    According to Fooball Insider website we are asking 1.2million for Alex Mowatt and 2 bids from championship have been put in. Surely this cannot be true. He is worth much more than that .

    He’s got less than six months left on his contract, £1.2m works out at just over £50k a game.

    I think he’s a quality player but a bid of that level would be very appealing for the club’s finances.

    One of the clubs is supposedly Millwall. Fücking Millwall!

    Whatever happens with Mowatt will make or break our season. Surely the club can’t be daft enough to sell him...

    If someone bid £1m plus he would be sold and it would be the right call really given his contract situation.

    Can see VI being too chuffed at the prospect. What happened to signing a new contract. Has that idea bit the dust ?

    Crazy to not try to extend James’ loan if we’re going to sell mowatt for that sort of price. Would be Palmer and Kane, thrown in at the deep end

    If he won't sign the contract then sell him. I think £1.2 million is a fair amount for him with only 6 months left on his contract.

    People saying quadruple 1.2million last season he was getting slated on here by many. Not enough pace, not championship quality etc.

    I can't see anyone paying that amount, with 6 months left on the contract, let alone Millwall. We got less than that for Hourihane, from a bigger club, with a similar contract position.
