Tories spend more on breakfast & claim it on expenses.. that’s been understood for years..o_ONot saying the others are any better. Except for Jeremy, who makes his own sarnies. & they’re meat free..:)

Maybe they examined 2 of the parcels and there was £2.50 worth in each? I've heard him quoted on news this morning.

I cook pretty much all meals from scratch, eat meat, bake bread, use herbs and spices (and stock cubes). I've a wife and 2 kids. I don't think I could do 3 meals each, snacks, drinks, supper for £100 a week.

I can make pies, but generally I'll buy them (once a week). But £100 for a family of 4 would be tough, without going partially (almost entirely) veggie. Fish (canned tuna/pilchards etc. aside) would be out of the question.

    You
You need to eat properly, make no wonder you can afford to drink in the more expensive bars in Tarn (pre Covid of course)if that’s all you spend on food.

    :)

Farm shops, veggies, eggs, Penistone butchers, Tesco (milk, tins and non perishables).

I can afford to support these places.

Added in: I also spend quite a bit more than £100. But that's not the point. Meat is expensive.

You get £15 per week per child. That £30 was 2 weeks worth of food.

I do eat properly. I just know where to buy my food from at the right price and what I like to eat. I avoid branded goods like the plague as a rule of thumb and get supermarket own brands where I can as they are the vast majority of the time the same **** in a different tin.

Its not. Farm shop meat is expensive.

You did your weekly shop at Lidl and at a guess youd save a few quid.
