not everyone's cup of tea I know, but kids reaction to him and how he was with them, made me tear up, must be the snow or lockdown honest, got a few minutes to spare give it a watch
He does come across as a great person sometimes. I don't understand some of the negativity towards him if I'm being honest
I was once in with a taxi driver that told me his son was in uniteds youth set up ( could,ve been fibbing of course), he told me Ronaldo was absolutely brilliant especially with the kids, Rooney was a w***er, had it in his contract that he only had to sign 4 charity footballs per week...
Say what you will about him, but he's as good of a footballer as you will ever see and has the x-factor about him. He just oozes "megastar". Kids hero-worship him, and you can see how much a simple high five or hair ruffle means to them. A bit like me with Andy Rammell!
ha ha, my brother was same with David Hirst we met him outside Doncaster ground before a pre season friendly, my brother got his autograph, no selfie back then, we said why you not playing, he goes im resting lads, 2 days later signed for Wednesday, my brother was more upset than when he realised Santa was well you know,, was
A think the bloke is a class act, and a perfect role model, IMO he’s the greatest footballer to grace a pitch
I’ve met him, several days in his presence in fact. The most odious, narcissistic creature on the earth. Don’t be fooled.
That’s brilliant. The perfect role model. An outstanding world class talent matched by his work ethic, desire and attitude. The greatest player that has ever lived in my opinion. Arguably not the very most talented, but the greatest.
That's how players should behave with kids. Ronaldo is brilliant with youngsters, seen lots of videos like that one. Years ago I remember that jumped up nobody Charlie Cooke walking straight past a line of kids wanting an autograph.
my son was about 4/5, we went to the chuckle brothers panto, afterwards you could pay to buy a poster , a photo and say high,"can you sign my sons poster please Paul and Barry", they proceed to do 2 massive signatures on poster,my lad looks at them and goes "we waited all this time to see you and you just scribbled all over my picture", bless him he was fuming, Barry goes its a signature son, but he was not having it and stormed off
Apparently when I was that age I refused to let my cricket programme be signed. My brother had asked and after they'd signed his they went to take mine and I wouldn't let them!
Couldn't agree more, had many direct and indirect contacts with his off the field antics. I'd say more but would probably run the risk of losing my job.
Didn’t him, Nani & Anderson have hookers at his mansion regularly? The rape case in Vegas puts me off. He’s made it go away but he’d basically admitted doing it & paying her off first time round. After reading that I don’t think anyone could find him likeable.
I thought he'd only admitted to consensual sex? Although paying her off sounds dodgy, the way her family came back for more raises questions too. I can well believe both the positive and negative posts, fan worship would turn anybody's head , and he has way more of it than most footballers.
