Swansea defended brilliantly and took there chances and you can see why they’ve only conceded 13 goals this season We work hard has always but lack that touch of class against the top sides.
The handball was clearly accidental, I think the ref got that right - VAR might have overruled him though. I have absolutely no idea what the other "penalty" was....
Not e Not enough quality at both ends of field to trouble the better sides. Should have enough to keep us away from the bottom end which is progress.
Whilst I think you're right - VAR would have given it - and it would have benefitted us, I'm still really glad VAR isn't destroying our games like it is the premier league, so I'm perversely OK that it easn't given on that basis. The ref should have given it though. Even I saw it from 4 miles away!!
Not tonight. They didn't need to. We were poor in the final third, especially with our decision making. When we did get good balls into dangerous areas, our forwards were five yards short. I really wish we'd run at them more directly, like Sibbick did late on, and made them earn their victory. As it was, we made it too easy for their defence. That said, Swansea did very little to trouble Walton. We conceded at the worst possible times and sloppily both times. Overall a draw would have been a fair result, though even that would have been slightly flattering to the visitors. Still, it's a measure of how far we've come this season that I'm upset about losing tonight. I'd have happily taken a point before the game kicked off. Looking forward to seeing more of Morris.
