agree with that but my perspective is that we are a better side than the side wd played tonight. plan b needed.
Definitely looked good, held it up, and took players on. Would like to see if he can do some damage in the opposition box. He should be starting on Tuesday
Swansea do pay about 4 times as much on wages as you, Ayew supposedly on £75,000 a week while your top man players are on less than £10,000 Swansea City FC 2020-21 Player Wages - Football League FC Barnsley FC 2020-21 Player Wages - Football League FC
If we supported a different club I'd agree. But we can't afford to have any patience - most of this team will be sold before they get anywhere near fulfilling their potential, and making the playoffs is the only chance we might possibly have of avoiding that. It means a lot more to us than it does to the likes of Stoke or Reading or QPR, all of whom can comfortably afford to keep all but the very best of their first XI. And I don't mean that in a moaning, having a go at the board way. It's just the way it is for us. If we end up comfortably mid-table this season then we'll be watching yet another new team in a year's time, probably scrapping against relegation and with another brand new manager. Given all that, I'm not surprised people are finding it difficult to conjure up perspective or patience. The only chance we'll ever have of approaching glory, unlikely as it is, is a kind of blitzkrieg, where we somehow get a team of youngsters to develop enough to compete before other teams realise what we've put together. To be fair we've somehow managed to almost do it twice in five years, which is actually a pretty impressive return!
Yeah, we know. I don't think you'll find a poster on here who's surprised by that, but if you justify every loss by looking at wages then we'd have to be happy with something like 30 points over the season.
We must have lost last night..... Have you seen the league table, are Swansea a good team? Yes, we need to be doing better against the top 6, but look where we were 5 months ago..... Walton, best young Goalkeeper we've had since Dave Watson. What do you want for 22 years old? Dino Zoff? or shall we go get Radlinger back?
