functional, dour football. gets results. the smart punter will no doubt be having a tickle on cardiff
One of the "don't meet your heroes" who I've met and spoke to for hours who is still a hero. I love the bloke. Lucky club are Cardiff. They'll have a late run at the top six if he gets the job. Their squad is set up for his football.
He never rated Kieffer when he was at Ipswich and in an interview a while back he rated Mowatt highly
I'm sorry if it upsets anyone but to never manage barnsley phisses me off, it feels like unfinished business, he could've had a crack at it but decides not too and instead manage other clubs of no great calibre and clubs weve been up against, I don't want to hear him when Cardiff play barnsley blah, blah, blah.
Good to see decent opinions of him on here from you guys but, got to be honest, I’m certainly not convinced. Plenty of other better candidates as far as I’m concerned but at least they’ve only given him until the end of the season. Harris had to go, underachieved massively given the players he had at his disposal. No idea what he was trying to do with his “style” of play and he thought tactics were small oblong mints. We were lacking in several areas pre-season and he failed to address these - preferring to play players out of position to cover them instead. Live in hope that MM can get us organised and get a tune out players who clearly didn’t want to play for the previous manager. Can’t imagine easy on the eye, free-flowing football but hey-ho
Just great losing 6 and replace the manager so we get hit with the new manager bounce and even worse it’s Mick
