a month? have they relaxed the rules around contracts then? last time i looked into it it was a 12 month contract minumum. something like £20 a month and that wasnt even for all the BT channels AND if you wanted HD? Oh that was an extra tenner...

Not many clubs get promoted mid-season. I'll take that.

I'm pretty certain you can subscribe to the BT sport app to watch on a phone/tablet on a month by month basis (as long as you remember to cancel).

I've signed up for the 3 months free as an EE customer, but if that wasn't available I'd be 50/50 on whether a full month for the sake of one game is worth it.

If there was a £10 day pass, I'd probably have taken it.

I think it's a fair criticism to raise of their business model - but I'm sure minds much greater than mine have wrestled with that inside BT

To be honest, I have many many problems with BT Group, but I don't think this is one of them. I can't blame them for getting the rights as they were allowed to do. I think my problem lays with the FA for giving exclusivity toward them so your casual fan can't watch.

You'd think that with things being as they are, BT could have relaxed the business model and allowed fans the opportunity to watch the game for a tenner. It feels to me like they'd rather twist people's arms and have them stump up for a month's worth of BT Sport.

They could have had a large dose of goodwill and positive publicity for very little effort or cost. Instead they've managed to wind people up and turn themselves into villains.

    Lots of our fans did.

    Presenter: Praise or grumble?
Caller: Grumble for Barnsley. Absolute tosh today.
Presenter: Did you go to Oakwell today?
Caller: No but I had Ceefax on.

I was a ceefax fan before I started to go regularly. I used to be a Barnsley are my town but I'm not that bothered about football fan. That changed in the 90s.
