On the subject of Luke Thomas. Looked at their line up on bbc app, they played 4-2-3-1 with “I’m an out and out winger, it’s all I know” on the bench.
I never meant or said that we only write foreign players off. Freizers played his part in a superb team performance today and can't see why he would be criticized.
Because he isn't no where near upto standard. The lad tries n works hard but hes out of his depth unfortunately. i would still try him in a three with woodrow n morris for a game or two but thats only because theres not mich else to choose from.
With our attacking options, they all work hard but there's only really Woodrow that can score the goals. Chaplin had his purple patch last season and he desperately needs a goal soon. Once he gets one, he could go on a scoring run again. Frieser doesn't look like a striker to me. He sometimes struggles to connect with 5/10 yard passes let alone a strike at goal. Victor seems to have reverted back to his old self. I can't really comment on Morris yet as it is far too early, hopefully he can chip in with a few goals though. It's difficult because we all know how we play and we know that we need hard workers but it isn't half frustrating seeing all the chances we miss and how often play breaks down in the opposition's box.
The fridge plays to his ability but for me it's not championship standard....cant question his effort work rate but it stands out like a sore thumb that he definitely lacks the quality required for this level....like chaplin he needs moving on in my opinion ....
Thought he did OK today. Needs to be more clinical and improve his 1st touch. But you could say that about all our forwards. 4 year deal, so hopefully can only get better. Still rather have J. Brown though.
We need quality either side of Woodrow. Let's hope Morris fits the bill. With a clinical front three we'd have buried Norwich today. As for Norwich I couldn't believe how ineffective they were, loads of possession in areas that were irrelevant.
Sure I saw on Twitter that Freiser is one of the leagues highest ranked players for chances created, so if that’s the case then this thread is absolute pony. All I ask is 100%, and he gives us that.
I would doubt the credibility of that. Got a link? His work rate helps us but his end product is frustrating 95% of the time.
Frieser always looks like he puts it all in. I like him and brings something to the team but he's another Potts, Bradshaw, Bahre, Ritzmaier for me. He's that **** he's good. I mean that in a good way. We pick up results when he plays.
Got to love DF for his effort. For me he has one major issue. He doesn't love the football. He always wants to get rid of the ball as soon as it hits his foot. Sometimes this can be a good thing. But all of the time it's not a good thing. I would hope that our coaching team will be advising Dom of this.
