    Hes out of contract in the Summer. He's 19 and a product of their Academy so a tribunal will set the fee.

    Sounds like the club have given permission for him to talk with other clubs with the caveat of Wigan and purchasing club agreeing a fee.
    By allowing the agent to do it, they could just be using him to whip up interest for them.

    If that’s right, it’s hardly surprising footballers go off the rails, when they go from £600 to £4000 a week.

    I'm not sure on that one. I think it still goes to a tribunal, but they can do the deal now for him to sign in the Summer whereas domestically you can't get him on a pre-contract agreement.

    It’s in FIFA rules so would suggest it is.
    Seem to vaguely recall was also a case where a player transferred from France to Newcastle
