Awful officiating. Awful management at 2-0 - why the **** he Ismael let us get sucked into there game? Awful football. There is no method to any of our play, it’s hit and hope and hope it sticks up there. He’s stubborn and he had no back up. Why not got 5-3-2 at 2-0? We weren’t even playing well to be 2-0 up either.
Disgusting refereeing. Legitimate goal ruled out. Conceded a goal from a corner which should not have been given. Elbow in the neck - no booking. Piddly little tug next to the touchline - yellow card. Fvcking disgusting. Fvck off - you corrupt bástard.
Don't want to be too critical but the number of times someone had time to take a touch in midfield but instead just blindly hit/headed it forward was frustrating to watch. It's not the first time either. There seems to be an effort to get it forward quickly regardless of the quality of the ball.
There was hardly any football played second half. It was old 4th Division soccer, played with fitter athletes. The stronger you were, the better.
I'm sure the quality of the ball has suffered greatly, having been hoofed viciously and thoughtlessly all night.
You're right, too often it was hoofed forward hopefully in midfield, when there was time to take a touch and make an accurate pass. More composure needed in those situations.
Some of these young players have thirty or forty games and some even more yet non had the nous tonight . Either we havnt got someone like a Rimmo to put their arms around them and get their point over or they’re slow learners or don’t take note . Time and time again we fel fir same tricks . It’s one of the reasons big Mick looked up to Rimmo for the heads up and he learned. It’s what makes young players stand out imo , Radhford quickly picked up on things even to the point of buying fouls ! I’m not advocating that’s what we should do , but just read the game ffs . Time after time game after game something needs to change . After saying all that I’m not dissapointed in the result or the position in the league which may sound strange , but I am concerned that players that imo have the ability are not picking up the finer parts of the game quickly or often enough . Not saying that they won’t revert to panicking but ffs take something in from your previous games .
They could have expected some level of efficiency from the officials - Disallowed goal Incorrect corner repeated fouls by Flint = should have been booking / red card Repeated free kicks "bought" by the ref and given to Cardiff. Unfair to blame players when the officiating so inept. Also worth noting that this is exactly the kind of game we would have (and did) lose last year - so yes, these players are learning.
Yes I do. Horrible team, but I grudgingly admire the fact that they drew us into the only type of game we weren't going to win.
The officiating was awfu but Cardiff and others have the nous to play them which were don’t and that’s my point . We have the ability and good players but we don’t have the nous nor do we seem to pick up on it . Can’t blame the bad refs although they don’t help but to play into the oppos hands that have read this is naive . Some of our play second half knowing the ref was crap was very naive imo
Awful management? You’re following the wrong club, mate.If you don’t want the piss ripping out of you every week, go learn summat about football & the little town of Barnsley. No offence, but you don’t half talk some *****...
I think you’re harsh on our lot. We’ve clearly improved since we last played them. Of course we should’ve shown more composure at times but you can’t account for the kind of decisions we got going against us tonight. You get the correct decisions & give us a goal & take one off them & it’s a comfortable win
I don't want the team I support to play that way though. The only way we could have counteracted that would be to cheat? I don't think it's right to blame players for the inadequacies of the officials.
