She had more testosterone than a World champion boxer. Always finished about 20 yards in front of anyone else in the 400m. No wonder, it was a man competing against women. Got found out years later.

she lost the 400m record to Koch pretty soon after her run in the early 80's, as far as i know she still holds the 800m record and hasn't been proven a drugs cheat although the suspicion is obviously there, especially as she was pretty average throughout her career and set her records aged 32.

What do you mean by "got found out years later"? Can't find any proof of that.

Flawless. Remember balancing on the edge of the chair making up my own routine!

Thought she was part of the state sponsored Eastern block doping program. Hundreds of Athletes, in particular East German swimmers, were setting unbelievable records out of the blue. Kratochvilova came from nowhere to set the 800m World record which has not been remotely challenged 38 years later. No ones got within a second of it. There was a big fuss about it years later when all female records from that time were regarded as suspect. Remember seeing a TV programme about it all with the Czech being debated. May have all been suspicion with no actual blood test results. Can't find the TV programme and all the google results just say the record was suspect so there probably isn't any hard proof. I apologise Mrs Kratochvilova.

800 metre world record holder from 1983 still stands today.

    1 minute 53.28 seconds.

As does Marita Koch's 400 metre world record of 47.60 set in 1985.

    Hmmm

And 800 metres. Won the double in 76.

Hasley Crawford won 100 metres. From Clint's place.
Lasse Viren from Finland beat Brendan Foster. Think he did the double for the 5k and 10K in two Olympics.
Japanese bloke went on to be the Japanese Prime Minister. I think he was in their shooting team but can't remember his name and I have feeling if I attempt it it will just come across as extremely racist.
    Olga Korbut gymnast.
Gould, Australian lass with a bloke's first name that I can't remember won 3 golds when she was about 6 or even still a foetus or summat.

    Shane I think. For Gould.

Lasse Viren used to swop his blood before races. For the blood of those who ran faster then him.

I like Hasley's biscuits now he's set himself up in a different field, as it were. Or area.

Japanese bloke - Tryada. That's if you can't remember his name.

Did Olga Korbut have any kids? That's what I want to know.
