I suppose it makes sense if the club expect most of the questions to be about him anyway.

Looks like he is in the squad for Saturday if his second test comes back negative

    Excellent news. :)

Looking forward to seeing him play. Let's hope he's better than the last USA International we had :)

That really can't be a measure of if he's good or not! *shudders at the memory of Brek Shea*

I don't know why, but I'm more excited about seeing Daryl play, than I have for any other new signing in a long time.

He's an unknown quantity, and I get the feeling if he's good, he'll be phenomenal.

Who was the last player you were excited to see? And how did that pan out?

I was really excited when we signed Dale Jennings from Bayern Munich. I thought, how come we've managed to get a player from them. Then I saw him.....

Get him straight in the starting line up.

When I think of players we've signed in recent times that people were keen to see... its really not worked out very well. Mido, Jennings, Frimpong.

Sammy the snake. Wondered if he could carry on his scoring form, which of course he did.

I think there is a danger of over expectation with this guy, stemming from the initially reported $20m price tag which has now been debunked by Dane Murphy. None the less I’m equally keen to see him in a red shirt and hope that his international clearance comes through in time for Saturday’s game.

I's say that in current market conditions this kid is worth about the same as Woodrow.

They wanted $9m from Brugge when they were in talks, so to have 2 Championship standard forwards can only help us. I'm really looking forward to watching him play, and I think it will make us a different beast with more pace up top.

If he's anything like touted then over the coming weeks I'd like to see Morris, Woodrow and Dike up front.

Morris can be Firmino, Woodrow can be Salah and Dike can be Sane.

It's been a while to be honest.

I'd say the last one was Kieffer Moore. Came on the back of a good half season at Rotherham.

I was excited to see Brad Potts, George Moncur and Keith Treacy before that, with varying levels of success.

You're probably right. But he might be mint, and I'm quite an excitable person.

I'm reserving judgement until I've seen him play. Adeboyejo has scored two worldies this season.
