I know, it sounds loads doesn't it. Its a 3 bed but no open plan living and a conservatory, and being a relatively new house there are 3 toilets.
I've got TVs in the lounge, dining room and kitchen. It's a nightmare if they're all on different channels, as we're open plan.
So this is how the other half watch telly? I think global poverty will look the same on my 2nd hand Sony Bravia. £100 off Facebook 5 years back.
OLED is (or was) nowhere near that price. When I was looking last year, for an OLED in excess of 80 inches, you could add a zero to that.
Have you looked at projectors again? A 3k budget would surely get you a decent one. I had a quick Google and you can get some decent short throws for around that.
I'm not that bothered about going back to projector and not short throw. Not that I don't like them but I don't have anything near the TV as the hdmi runs over Ethernet to the media cabinet which is elsewhere. It would mean me having to put some sort of unit in to put the projector on and I don't want that. A normal one would be ok again but want TV really. Cheers
Bought the Samsung 4K version just before Xmas, decent bit of kit, we find the immersive sound a bit of pain, but would suspect if we had the correct sound set up it would be better.
Cheers for that, do you know model number? I've a Denon Atmos receiver with surround sound so not bothered about the TV sound
Thanks very much. That's what I've been looking at but the 80T not the 70T although I do need to see whether it's worth the extra money, thanks
With a room and screen that size I'm confident we can social distance! Incidentally @kez where have you seen a 80+ inch OLED for four grand?
