So, we're playing midweek/Weekend for the next 6 weeks, up until the next International break on 20th March. 12 games in 37 days. Tough schedule that
From a selfish point of view, I ******* love it that there's a Barnsley game every 3.5 days. As someone that doesn't get to many away matches, I'm used to the once a fortnight routine. Don't get me wrong, it's not a patch on being there in person. But with things as they are, it's something to look forward to.
Hopefully the week and a half without a game will help for the next few weeks. Helik looked a different player after missing a couple of games. The likes of Woodrow, Styles, Brittain and Mowatt will need their workloads managing, as they play most minutes and cover a lot of ground. If we can start winning games again, it probably wont seem so gruelling to them, as December showed. Poor form and a game every 3 days for two months is a bad mix though.
I don't get why it couldn't be played yesterday or with us playing Thursday even today instead of waiting so long?
if we win, that'll be played on an already allocated Saturday in March. So that game will be re-arranged for April.......
I agree with all that. I love it that match days come around so quickly and that I’ve not missed one since last season’s restart. My away trips had dwindled to virtually nil so it’s great seeing them home and away thanks to the wonders of technology.
Nope, not having that! I like and respect you, Helen. It's got nothing to do with me being scared of you. Absolutely not! No way!
