The whole post, from beginning to end: "Correct. I'm all for gender equality but if you can't stand the heat then get out the ******* kitchen. How long will the FA watch her make mistake after mistake and still ******* back her?" It's all about her gender
The post states I'm all for gender equality but if you can't keep up with play then don't do the job. Male or female. I couldn't give 2 ***** who runs the line. Male, female or ******* ET as long as they do the job they are paid to do
If it were a requirement to be bang in line at all times there'd be no linesmen. Maybe Usain Bolt but I doubt he'd fancy it.
They make a decision based upon hundreds of hours of experience as to whether they think the player offside. Her judgment was correct.
I just find it ******* ironic that you are quoting my post because I mentioned 'she' when there's people mentioning 'ironing boards' and the thread begins with 'putting lippy on'
What a shame after a performance like that we have another BBS meltdown ragging each other to bits. FfS Have a word. All of you Be proud of what we have just done It is spoiling this bbs every single fuxking day
Have I missed the thread that slags the male ref off for not giving them a penalty in the first half? Clearly wasn't close enough
If a penalty had been awarded, Sibbick wouldn't (at least shouldn't) have been sent off. He made a genuine attempt to play the ball.
I think there would have been had it been a Barnsley player that went down mate! I still think it is tough to call and looks offside to me and there is no doubt she is too far behind play to make a credible call on it. That’s got nothing to do with her sex, it’s just an observation. I’m all for VAR for this very reason - the job of an assistant referee is to an extent not possible. You need to be as fast as the footballers and also have the subhuman ability to be looking in two places at one time. I know a lot of folk moan about it’s use for offside but I think it’s perfect for it - you’re either offside or you’re not
Or you can practise seeing incidents and making decisions from an imperfect angle. Which is what they all do.
The 3 bbc presenters were bang in line. The linesman was. Every single person watching thought it was a great tackle. Replays shows different. Nobody watching in real time would have made any different decision It happens. If it was us, we wouldnt have appealed for it either, let's be right
