    Thought he was very fair in his interview after the game. Gave us credit, said it’s a tough place to come. Didn’t whinge about penalty that wasn’t awarded.

    He can afford to be magnanimous can’t he? His team scraped a win against “inferior “ opposition and he scored his customary goal against us. Similarities with Andy Cole. He always scored against us as well. There have been many down the years. You just look at the team sheet and know they will get at least one goal.

    Difference with him and others is he deserved it imo.
    He was their star man last night regarding effort and I think we would have gone into extra time and very possibly won it if he hadn’t put in the performance that he did .
    Most of the Chelsea lot didn’t fancy it against us having no time on the ball and rushing their passes etc .
    Credit where Credit is due and on the night he was man of the match closely followed by Anderson and Sibbick imo .

    Can't say as I noticed. I did see him go down as a result of tackles and challenges that I'd regard as robust, but fair. I don't watch Premier League football, so I'm only guessing, but perhaps they don't have those anymore at that level.
