This lad can shrug them off and knock them about! With more minutes he looks very promising along with Morris.
A proper beast. Strong as an ox by the looks. Once again looks like we could have unearthed something here.
Good question. I think they are very similar. I just want em' both to carry on improving. Victor needs to shield the ball better. I think Dike was ring rusty against Chelsea but today his touch and vision probably secured the win.
I’m tempted to agree. If a lot of our players, particularly the forwards, could improve their first touch we’d be promotion contenders
Thought he did ok v Chelsea. He’s a big strong unit but back to goals not his game. Needs to be on the half turn or on the move and he’ll take some stopping. Could turn out to be a very good loan signing as he gets more match fitness.
He adds a whole new dimension to our play, he knocked their defenders all over the pitch, this is the start to a very exciting run to the end of season. Dont forget Morris who is also a handfull, Cauley will so benefit from playing with these two but we cant forget the input from Vic, Chaplin and Frieser. 6 strikers that will rotate and keep us fighting to the end.
great question. too early to tell but first impressions......more willing to mix it up, more direct, stronger in the air. Just seemed a bit more confident about what he could offer. I like Victor but he needs more belief. he underestimates his ability. He has improved remarkably under this coaching regime. Long that may continue. We mow have good options up top.
His biggest asset, other than his size and physicality, seems to be his ability to turn and run in behind. It's the first thing he looks to do every time he gets the ball with his back to goal. Huge skill to have in our system and we don't have anybody that can do that at the moment.
I would like to take back my earlier criticism of Mr Dike, I was wrong. He is an asset to the Club and could be a real diamond. He’s tough and watching him turn and run tonight for a big unit he is very nimble and speedy. Good Luck Darryl.
