I liked the Blitzkreig tactics of yesterday, let the front three run their legs off then stick on another three!

It highlights our progression really, and shows the long term plan in affect.

We have essentially have 2 lots of a front 3, who are all interchangeable and are not ‘fill in’ strikers.

    Dike, Chaplin & Morris.

    Freiser, Woodrow & Adeboyejo.

Then you’ve the back up of Miller & Schmidt if required. Miller who will run all day long, and Schmidt who may not run as much, but deadly in the 6 yard (appreciate Schmidt is on loan).

Strength in depth and also quality. Been a while since we could say that.....

I think 4 of those are a viable option and 4 are bits and pieces players but I get your point.

You’re right in that - but like any other club, we can’t carry 6-8 genuine first team strikers. It just doesn’t work for game time or for finances. We’ve a good mix at the moment though.

We've also got Aitchison, Thomas and then you've Marsh in the youth set up who positive things were said about and he got around the first team once or twice.

We've way too many forwards now, and I'd be surprised if Schmidt and Thomas aren't surplus to requirements, its pretty clear Miller is.
