For all the stick Moeen gets, and I tend to agree with a lot of it, but he’s now got 8 in the match including Kohli twice.
I’m a critic of his and have been for a long time. No one can argue with his bowling performance in this match but we need to stop calling him a batsman/bowler. His batting, mostly, is poor so why he gets in at 8 or above I don’t know. 9 or 10 would be about right.
Two days to get 400 is gettable if you ignore the scoreboard and play every shot on it's merits. If every batsman tries to get 40 each and take it from there.
That's the problem though. Too many got out in the first innings playing sweeps and across the line shots. Just play to occupy the crease and then hit the bad ball
They started the day so well then let them off the hook. That last wicket partnership was brutal too.
