    It certainly looks like an intrusive media have caught them completely unawares there doesn't it? I think they should consider legal action

    I might be crazy but I don't think she got pregnant a while ago just so she could upstage a nobody child of a paedophile

    There’s a limited time you can announce a pregnancy. Obviously, you have to be pregnant so that limits it to 9 months, most people generally wait until 12 weeks to make sure all is ok so that narrows it down to a 6 month window, it needs to be before the bump is really obvious otherwise people will start speculating so you can take off the last 4 months. It doesn’t really matter what other news is in the papers at the time if she’s at that stage now. At least this way they get to control the announcement.

    As much as I don't like the royals it's remarkable the lengths the gutter press go to to stick the boot into Harry and Meghan. Calling it a "rehash of a movie scene" is a hell of a stretch.

    As a general rule, the Royal Family mean nothing to me.

    But I find it amusing when Meghan winds up the Mail and S*n - hopefully she eats more killer avocado.

    Can you imagine if they hadn't announced it? When it did come out the same papers would be hammering her for being secretive, shunning the country, selfishly failing to disclose the news of the new prince(ss) at a time when our key workers need a morale boost etc. etc.

    Damned either way.

    It's amazing they moved to the showbiz capital of the world for privacy and then decide to do a ninety minute interview with the biggest talk show host in the world. They obviously lied about wanting privacy but want more control over what's said about them such as their deal with Netflix.

    I remember when he complained about the gutter press hounding Caroline Flack and said they had blood on their hands only to be linking to the gossip pages of the same papers a few posts later.

    They moved to get away from paparazzi. They wanted to control news about their lives instead of having it controlled by the tabloids. These headlines emphasise that decision.

    I'm no royalist but I can hardly blame them when I see stuff like this. There's a big difference between sharing news from your life and having it continually invaded by parasites.

    They've not long since suffered a miscarriage, maybe they want to celebrate the new pregnancy? What they wanted is to not be stalked by the paps. If they'd not released a pic of her bump then everyone would have been competing to get the first shot, no doubt hiding in bushes etc. to do so.
