Do you not have the opportunity of phased return JT. Several of our lads/lasses were given the opportunity to more or less come and go, Given how they felt. Some taking many weeks to build back up to normal. ?
If you have a back to work interview. Which a lot of places have. (When folk have been off sick sometimes only a couple of days. ) . Tell em how it is. They should be understanding. Unless they’re a don’t give a toss firm/company. My bro in law was hospitalised last March. Through Covid. It took him several months to get back to normal. And he’s not a shirker. But a fitter who does a lot of manual work.
a guy as just been in court for burning Beeches Brook down ,before summing up he asked for 6 other fences to be taken into consideration
All the best Jack. I'm a glass overflowing bloke but even I've felt the strain of all this. I tend to seize good bits of news such as my missis getting her jab, a decent day at work or a kindly word from someone as a boost for my morale Even getting back to caring more about how Barnsley are doing , and laughing about the irony of Fletcher scoring for Stoke last night As others have said, you're not alone on here mate, just reach out if needed, sure someone will be around to chat We're all Reds together
Hope your first day back goes well. Dont know if you work weekends but if not a couple of days before the weekend is a good way to return.
lovely words those, I try to live in the moment like animals do,they not thinking about anything only here and now,its hard though because everything is a memory only the split second your in the present, this post will be a memory as soon as I press post ,which is now
Been in employment since 1988 and with my current employers over 25 years and this is the longest period of time i have been off work.due to ill health. After the 10 days of isolation ended the fatigue and aches took hold and i have been virtually housebound for almost 4 weeks. But couldn't do much at home as i jad to rest and take it easy..Boredom and cabin fever took hold as did my mental health and anxiety (started stressing and feel unnecessarily guilty for being at home) sleep pattern went to c0ck. But thankfully that is an end to it. Im grateful and fortunate for getting through this unscathed and would like to thank you guys for your brilliant support.
