Brittain for me, but I do owe Sibbick an apology, he's not as bad as I thought.

Not alone in needing to apologise

As much as he has played well i don't understand that solbauer has made way for him, such a strong player and organiser of the team

Looks a totally different player this season had a great game. I'd pick him for motm Morris had a great appearance though scored a goal out of nothing and a good assist

To be completely fair, when we talk about need to apologise - there was nothing in Sibbicks early performances to suggest the player he's looking like.

People were definitely too quick to judge him but that's true of a lot of players not just him.

I didn't think he was that *bad* but if you'd told me a month ago he'd be keeping Solly out of the first team I'd have laughed at you.

Good post. The lad deserves some credit after the stick he's had on here when he first joined.

I normally get it totally wrong with players but I did say, after seeing Toby at Tynecastle, that there was a player in there.

Watching tonight the resurgence of Sibbick, the return of Williams and the new signings means we really have some strength in depth.

Perfect to mount a promotion push!

He just needed time. Like many of the lads we bought a couple of seasons ago. They needed time and we needed to show them patience.

My MOM as well. Though the subs were immense, especially Morris and Williams.

Lad is a real prospect, all needed was a gaffer to coach him to do the basics right. His turn of pace is huge bonus when playing a back 3.

    Literally the definition of

    "Like having a new signing"

Really been impressive since he came back.

Fair play lad. Fair play indeed

    Keep it going

Sibbick was too young 1st time around and Mads wasn't the player he is now either ,both in what was really an average side. add Helik and Solbaurs influence plus Val and the player some thowt was in ther has room to develop...MOTM for me

He wasn’t my motm, Mowatt tonight for me, with Morris closely second despite only playing 35 minutes or so. But Sibbick was good.

I still don’t think he should be keeping Solly out of the side. I think we have gained pace in the back line but lost the organiser, the nous and a bit of the shithousery (commonly known as professionalism...).

But I’m very pleased he’s doing well.

He played well. I think his pace offers something different to the other centre backs we have.

Mowatt MotM for me though. Or maybe Morris but in the voting we have on here I don’t think we do subs do we?
