I thought he started well but became more ropey as the game wore on. Covering a lot of grass mind. Just needs to get back to basics with his defending and stay switched on.
We need to win more in midfield, its giving them time to play wide and over the top. They're playing our tactic, ball not sticking up top. Dike and Victor may be good introductions. I'd be tempted to keep Morris on though, he's shown quality. Woodrow having a decent game but Morris' defensive work is outstanding.
Is he? If anyone in the back 3 has looked shakey, it's Andersen. It was always going to be a tough game tonight, but scoring that early goal has certainly invited more pressure on the back line. It'll be a bit like the Watford game at home earlier in the season this 2nd half. I'd be tempted to get Dike on early, to see if we can get the ball to stick up top a bit more.
We aren’t tracking the runners from midfield. A simple give and go allows Stoke in down the sides nearly every time. The defense aren’t really getting much of a breather since we are wasteful in possession.
Case in point, Palmer had a simple forward pass there, but chose the leather it down field. Stoke back in possession.
It must be difficult in these conditions but yeah, I think Sibbick has struggled a bit. Particularly with his clearances, he’s scuffed so many now.
Thought he worked hard under a lot of pressure, didn't do too much wrong other than a few scuffs. Good team performance that. COYR
Like a lot of the players, he looked fatigued, especially the ones coming back from injury. It doesn't help that we can be rushed in our play and hand over possession.
Going back a month I would never have left Sollbaure out of the team, cant believe how well Sibbick has done after so little footbal for over a year. Lads doing great and with his pace at the back i think we are stronger. To bring Sollbaure on to tighten the last 15 mins what an option.
Yes, I thought he looked a bit shakey first half, but improved second half, although I was pleased to see Sollbauer come on with his steadying influence.
I think he's quality. But I do think there are games that will suit him and games that will suit Sol. I think today was a game that would suit Sol. But I say this in the knowledge that what Val has done in shaping this team is mind boggling and my criticism of him is just a nonsense. But it's a football forum so I may as well stick my two penneth in, even if it's crap. If we all just applaud everything, the BBS would be over in a couple of days. With that in mind, I do think Sibbick is very pretty and I do fancy him a bit.
