Hate to say it cos I really hate Millwall but they're coping better with us than any other team over the last 6 weeks.

Apart from the 3 strikers as per normal I'd go Halme for Romal. More bite.

Poor first half.

Worst we’ve played for months.

We need to up the workrate and get the effing ball on the deck.

Midfield have been really poor.

 

I feel like they look a bit more composed than us so far. But I’m sure second half Val will get us going.

 

Not a great half

Referee thinks we may have been offside for our goal so now he's giving them a free kick every time we play the ball into the box. One of their defenders could unsheath a samurai sword and behead Woodrow and the ref would still give a foul their way.

 

They all do it. Brad Collins whenever we are winning.

 

Agree, our midfield has gone missing for large parts of that first half

 

Think Chaplin maybe should have started, he's a bit trickier and more likely to be given the foul. And Sibbick for pace

 

Half time summery. A few players not at it last to 2nd balls etc maybe too many games in short space of time too.many rushed balls in midfield mowatt off it need to up it 2nd half.

The ref is awful loves to give milllllow a free kick

 

Credit to Millwall. They've played well.

Far fewer well known names than a few recent opponents, but much better as a team.

 

A poor performance from Barnsley, Styles, Palmer, Dike, Solbauer off it. A rollicking needed at half time, in danger of being well beaten today,not doing the basics, believing their own hype?

 

Great start downhill from then. Poor goal to give away, sloppy in possession. Second half must do better.

 

After that early Cauley Woodrow goal, I was hoping we could kick on. But today has shown that there are very few easy games in the Championship. You have to earn the right to play your stuff. Millwall have been very difficult opposition, so far. We certainly need to up our game for us to get three points.

 

I think this is Miwwaww being the first recent team to get their gameplan right vs us rather than us being particular poor. Their two attackers using their pace between and around our centre backs is causing us a problem, so we've had to adapt a little to try to prevent it. We're not used to adapting to other teams anymore, and I think it's knocked us off the boil and put some jitters in.

 

To be fair it was summery at kick off.

 

I suppose it gives the groundstaff somat to do wit touch-up paint on Mundar.

 

Frustrating half that. The referee seems to be buying all of Millwall's cheap free-kicks. Millwall are doing a job on us, but we've still had chances. I'm sure we'll come out a different side in the second half. Mowatt and Palmer need to get in the game.

Hopefully proven wrong, but as much as I think this front three is 'technically' our best, I'd say we're missing a busy body in there, Chaplin or Frieser.

 

I think Millwall deserve a lot of credit. Well set up and pressing us really well.

I would bring Vic on for Dike and possibly Kane, telling him to get his foot on the ball...

 

Credit to Millwall so far. They’ve been the toughest opponents we’ve faced for weeks.

Regardless, we’ll win this.
