Not nailed on, but extremely realistic. Our form since Val took over would have us on something like 82 points over a season. That's between playoff and promotion form.
Why not? It's in our hands now. However, if we don't do it, it really won't deflect from a fantastic season.
A large part of making the play-offs is about mental attitude. We've seen no end of good sides mess things up in the final month or two of a season because they don't have the self-belief or motivation. We do. We have a highly motivated squad and a coach who absolutely will not allow them to quit. Anything is possible this season.
momentum is with us so as helen says why not? it's in our hands! whatever happens i'm enjoying the ride and watching my team grow in confidence and belief week by week U Reds
If our form under big val continues we should finish on 76-77 points, so why not? Currently doing 1.846 ppg
Yes, but we'd need to improve our record Vs the top teams to progress out of them. But mentally I think this team would have a great advantage given performance Vs expectations, and last year's end-of-season heroics
I’ll be honest, only today have I thought we can do this. Stoke and Millwall are horrible teams to play against, the table shows that they’re extremely tough teams to beat(especially Millwall) and we’ve got 6 points. Look at the next 6 games too, I think after them we’ll know if we can or not, and they’re winnable. But the championship is a weird division, you wouldn’t rule out us beating Bournemouth away and days later getting beat by Wycombe. Main thing is we’ve passed the 50 point mark so now the gloves are off, let’s go for it! COYR!
Of course it's realistic. Win our game in hand and we're there. Depends on whether we can sustain it while the end of the season. Personally think we'll finish 8/9th
Winning ugly like we have recently is a good sign but I think we will just fall short though I do reckon Reading will fall out of the 6.
It’s not within the realms of possibility, but I would not be too disappointed if we didn’t make it into the top 6. This season has been way beyond my expectations and I have thoroughly enjoyed it.
Yes. If we didn't it would remove a massive sense of being. I've been honourable, honest, loving partner, loving Dad. I want this more than anything. It's sumat for me.
Been a barnsley fan too long, I'm never positive alway expect the worst then happier when good things happen, expected us to.go.down last season didn't expect top 2 under stendel and didn't expect the play offs in 2016
6 months ago no I didn't think we would be anywhere near. Now I think we have a very good chance which is a remarkable achievement for the Manager and squad and the CEO and board have done their bit and deserve credit.
