Definitely Fudge in the bottom photo. He’s rather more well groomed than was often the case! That may explain the confusion.

Top bloke. Maybe we should organise a ‘Fudge Day’. Scarves around the wrist and a Simao carrier bag essential.

Lots of the other slides ( tap on the image) make interesting viewing. Don’t think I reached the end. Just go on and on.

Big lad, long ginger hair, specs, lost a lot of weight as he got older but obviously still tall. Regular at the Ship and the Reform back in the day.

One of the great things about terraces was that you circulated more. You’d see the same people at each game. Doesn’t really happen with seats. Another good thing was you could move away people (e.g. the repetitive whiners!)

My mates used to take the pi55 out of me saying I looked like fudge. It was mainly the blondish hair and the beard, other than that there was no resemblance (in my opinion). One boxing day match they brought a huge box with Christmas wrapping on it - loads of wrapping. They made me open it in full view of everyone on the Ponty, and after discarding about twenty layers of wrapping there was a flat cap - fudge style. It smelled horrible - and the reason for that is that one of my mates had fished it out of the bins. He was a refuse collector at the time.

I'm afraid what Gimsons said a couple of pages back is true, Eric passed away a while back, he was good mates with my brother.
