    No. I think damp, rats & not wanting to wake up cold & surrounded by a pile of 18th century rubble, are prior concerns..?!
    Anyway, I have a toaster, a nifty microwave & a nice little sandwich maker I stole from my Mam’s when I left home at 17.. :)

    This isn't going to be much help, but we've got one of those pyrolytic ovens which clean themselves. It works really well provided you remove any chrome bits which will need replating (or replacing) if you leave them in. Guess how I found that out?

    My missus calls it a "paralytic" oven. I don't normally make fun of her English, but that's too funny to ignore.
