    I think the recruitment team have come up trumps again with this lad. His work rate, commitment to the cause, ability on the ball and the knack of scoring goals in a variety of styles, have been a joy to behold. He's had a great start to his Barnsley career.

    Wouldn't have backed any other player to score that goal last night. The first touch, the pace to get away from the defender and the finish, not sure who else would've managed all three.

    Totally agree and imo he’s straight outa the Billy Beane Moneyball theory .
    He was under the radar and our stats put him as a fit for our system and boy were they right .

    Weren't we going to send Barnard the other way? Only for him to tell them to swivel and bang in possibly the best goal I've seen at Oakwell the next day to put us 6-0 up before half time against Huddersfield.
