If their was a league for 5hithousery they would have been champions weeks ago, its how they play, they haven't got the players or financial clout I get that, but its awful to watch
So would I Helen, I don’t get home until midnight and after a full day at work prior to travelling it is quite a slog, but that is also due to the fact that we have not been that good previously in midweek games so a 80 mile drive on my own after a defeat was not the best way to wind down: although this season is working out ok so far!
This season they haven't been bad. More time to get pissed up celebrating after a win. I know they're school nights but midweek wins have been like rocking horse sheet in the past.
I've gone to Barnsley midweek and ended up in The Mount or Courthouse instead. Especially if it's cold. Didn't effect the outcome. Even during our promotion season 18/19 we didn't win one midweek game at home.
Off topic. Earliest I've walked out was Brentford during the 2003/4 season. England were playing the same day. Absolutely no atmosphere, early kick-off and the teams didn't look up for it either. I walked out after half an hour with the scores at 0-0. It finished 0-0.
The usuall 7.45 pm kick off time is so out dated when we all work so many varied hours, instead of Dolly Partons 9-5 malarkey , why not 7.30 or 7pm kick off. I'm loving the 6pm matches.
