If we could be guaranteed the above, I'd prefer it if we draw against Derby and beat Bournemouth. Obviously this amazing winning run would be over, but beating Bournemouth would set down more of a marker for teams in and around the top six.
Bournemouth bossed us last time and I just accepted we had been outclassed by a far better Premier League quality side. Bulk of our fans gracefully accepted that. But this time, we are a different proposition. Hard to believe it’s the same season really.
If Bournemouth were premier league quality, they would not be in the Championship. 9th straight win for juggernaut..
I fear the high back line we play will be exploited by Bournemouth's classy forwards... we'll see Too many games to go for this game to define anything anyway choose which way it goes..
If we had to choose i would say lets have two wins. No fear and nothing to lose. However i dont think Val will be thinking too much about Bournmouth until Thursday. I dont think Val has it in his nature to set up to defend or change his 'A' game plan. I think they have a weeks rest though which i do fear will help them a lot
There was nothing much between us n Bournemouth in the 1st half got there 2nd last kick a 1st half n we gave them 3 of the goals we fell apart about last half hour of game
Chien should treat the chaps to a chartered flight for this one. Robin Hood airport to Bournemouth airport, save the legs from a long coach trip
I think it could be defining if we beat them having beaten Derby. That would be a 7pt gap with 10 games to go. Would cement our place in the play-offs. Probably more importantly it would likely drag Reading into the chasing pack's sights.
thing is we were not outclassed we had as much of the game as them,we just gifted them their goals.won,t happen this time.
Just for a bit of fun, we're currently only 2 points adrift of the 96/97 promotion team after 34 games. Which is amazing after the way the season started. Last 12 games the 96/97 team picked up 21 points. I can't see 80 points getting automatic this time round but stranger things have happened. Norwich are the Bolton of 96/97.
Bearing in mind us playing Derby on Wednesday and Bournemouth having a free week i think it’s going to be a massive ask to keep this run going but nothing would surprise me with these lads.
