could be worse ... we live in one of the greatest countries on earth (some of you live in the greatest county), we live longer in a better state of health. We are fed, housed & have lived in relative peace for 50 years. Hell of a lot worse for most.
It's everyone's choice at the end of the day though. If you don't want your job to be staring at screen then do a different one, there's tons of people who don't look at a screen the entire time they are at work or only look for parts of it. Choose a hobby that doesn't involve looking at a screen. When things are open (you did say it wasn't just lockdown) then do your shopping, banking, collecting a takeaway etc. in person. When I go on holiday, the phone goes in the safe on the first day and I take it out again on the last day but I could easily spend the entire time on holiday on it if I chose to do that instead.
Sorry to hear that Liverpool. My husband got a call from his mam early today to say that his nan had a heart attack last night and her body has rejected the stent. The doctor was due to deliver the latest results of her tests at 6pm and then they'll make a decision whether to turn the life support off or not. Will's there now but I don't know the decision yet. His auntie who was the same age as your cousin died of a heart attack a few months ago too.
Heartfelt sympathy to you and your family LR.. Hope things work out positively for your husbands nan Jamdrop. Stay strong
