VIKKI STEVENS INTERVIEW Interviews On International Women's Day, we are sharing Saturday's 'behind-the-scenes' Grove Street interview with one of our leading women here at Oakwell. Continue reading on the official site...
Nice article, well done Vikki, nearly 10 years at the club. One slight observation. Why is that the physio's in general are coming onto the field less this season? Or is it me imagining it?
Could be one of two explanations for me. We're either going for the Mourinho tactic of not bringing on a physio so we don't get reduced to 10 men temporarily. Or our players are in fact made of carbon, and cannot be broken.
Excellent interview, Vikki comes across as a well respected, likeable, knowledgeable professional. The comments about Valerien Ismael make me like the bloke even more.
I enjoyed that interview in the Birmingham City programme. She's seen a lot in a short space of time not just with promotions (and relegations) but with the Croft and Moore situations to name just two. Noticeable in the photos she was allowed to smile which is a different approach compared to usual interviews
This article is also on facebook. I despair at some of the replies. "Reight bird is she single Tidy looking Absolute sort" Etc etc. Following on from the racism towards our owner on Twitter we have disrespectful sexist idiots on facebook.
If players are happy, they are less likely to be injured because they want to play Is my guess. If I am of course coming across as what I meant to say
