@YTBFC sorry to tag you on this but maybe you can get someone to sort it.

All the season ticket info on the website is for last year - all the menus and news stories are all out last season.

    https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/tickets/ticket-news/

I had to scroll through 3 pages of news articles to find what I was after and that was only because I knew it had been previously posted.

    https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/2021/march/2122-membership-information/

The date for the early bird isn't on the price list PDF either - had to go hunting for that on the post again.

A couple of tweaks to remove obstacles to renewal/purchase :)

Don't think you are correct there. I have just gone straight to this coming years blurb.

All 21/22 info is in the following article: https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/2021/march/2122-membership-information/

We haven't had the opportunity to build out the usual ticketing tabs on site yet, as we are consumed by games etc. The initial plan was to do that post-20th March (international break week) but the club decided to launch tickets earlier (naturally).

I do mine & my grandsons over the phone but I must have rung in excess of 50 times & all I get is " we are experiencing a heavy volume of calls, please ring back later " , which I have done umpteen times but to no avail , very frustrating but it is what it is .

I can only say to keep trying buddy. Very sorry you've not got sorted.

As for the initial point, anyone going on site right now should be met on the homepage by the relevant 21/22 details. We'll build out the usual tabs etc in the coming days.

    Hmmm...

    Last year's info said:
"Qualifying ages for our senior tickets are 65+.
However, those supporters who have not lapsed since 2009 will still qualify for the 60+ age limit."

This year's info says 2008/09 is the relevant cut off point.

It's a small distinction, but as someone who's had a ST since 2009/10, and who turns 60 later this year (though not in time for next season), I was looking forward to a concession in a years time. Looks now like I don't qualify until I'm 65.

    Iley out! :D

The end of the 08/09 season was the cut-off point buddy, sorry about that. :(

Honestly mate, if you can operate the BBS you can operate the online box office thing.

No worries, I'll still be renewing. The iFollow commentaries are worth every penny. :)

never said i was having trouble renewing - was pointing out the fact our season tickets - the main revenue stream from the fans, was hidden in a news article not even titled season tickets. Folk i've spoke to didn't even realise they were for sale.

No big issue for me - just trying to point out an important issue for people maybe looking to renew or buy one. If you have gotten sorted then you weren't affected. When you go to the actual eticekting site they are there in all their glory but werent on the main website.

I'm having trouble renewing too, never had a problem in the past. Firstly, I had reserved plus last season, so it's automatically adding it this season for me. However, I don't think it will be worthwhile for me so want to remove it. The option to remove doesn't seem to be there though, so stuck with it. Secondly, my daughter's renewal isn't on my renewal either, but my wife's is. Looks like I'm going to have to chance the phone lines.

I had the opposite scenario. Was Reds Reserved and wanted to upgrade to plus. System didn't allow this so I emailed Membership who politely obliged by amending my ticket details so I could buy on line. I wouldn't phone but email instead and get them to add your daughter's to yours as well if that's what you want.

This is exactly what I did my friend. Beth explained how to add my daughter, and she manually amended my ticket price. All sorted!

How hard can it be to have an online purchasing system that allows you to select the level of membership you wish to buy? Having to email the club is a bit odd.

It's like having to email Amazon because they have you on file as a Bowie fan, when this time around you're wanting to buy an album by Queen.
