    Yes, that is why "intangible assets" are so low... ours must be way above theirs, if stated in the accounts at market value, which they won't be.

    So they got 38 million for their stadium with 90 million to pay back in an economy with little inflation . Just wow .

    They've huge problems. Massive problems.

    Curious as a sole director in a company making profit only through the act of fiction and hugely indebted, Chansiri still managed to pay himself £130k while the staff headcount reduced.

    They haven't really got any saleable assets on the books . I think their average age is one of the worst in the division .

    Isn't there something in FFP about relegated clubs and player contracts that commenced before relegation- ie they don't count toward the wages/turnover rules?

    It’s not uncommon for businesses to declare income / contracts in accounts before they have occurred, to artificially boost the perceived profitability of the company , Wednesday got caught out others got away with it ......mentioning no names

    I hold no ill will, as if they go under, too many people's lives will be negatively affected.

    Like anyone else on here, I want to see them lose, get relegated and for the Reds to beat them handsomely every time. That's where my animosity ends.

    However, it makes me happy and content that we appear to be being run very well financially. For a while it looked like that affected our onfield performance, but this is not longer true.

    We're talking about something that impacts their profit & loss by around £38 million though, over 160% of their annual turnover. Not to mention that the date of the transaction is filed with the land registry.
