Funny he is leaving at the same time Farage as stepped out of politics makes you wonder if these two have something planned with the real leader of this country Rupert Murdock.
When there's money to be made, you tend to find that things like that go out the window. To be honest, it would be a right bonus for me if they all ended up on the same channel, nicely out of the way.
The new presenter of GMB is...... 1. A WOMAN. 2. AN INDIAN WOMAN I can hear the shattering of keyboards as we speak.
My guess is he’s been offered more money by GB news to be the figurehead for their new channel & this is all about creating headlines & making him appear to be ‘anti-snowflake’ or however he would word it. He’s a ***** but he’s a very clever man. Knows exactly what he’s doing. Pushes all the right buttons to get people wound up but never goes far enough to make himself unemployable.
I'm really sorry to hear that Piers Morgan has lost his job. I’ve left a message of condolence on my own voicemail for him to listen to.
Thought Susannah was going to crack the bubbly live on air. Never heard her say so much uninterrupted. Moron will bounce back. ****s always do..
Whether people like Meghan Markle or not but to call someone out as a liar when then have said they wanted to end their life is disgraceful.
I’ve said this before, discounting yesterday he’s actually quite often right in what he says but still manages to come across as a bell end
The thing is she might be telling the truth or she might be lying, it’s something we’ll never know but what he fails to realise is the wider effect it can have on people, folk might be watching that and will be scared to speak about it out for fear of not being believed.
There was a lot more context to it than that. He didn't claim she was lying about wanting to end her life, he said he doubted the interview as a whole from a telling the truth perspective. His issue around her mental health/suicide claim was that he didn't believe that the Royal Family told her she couldn't get public health because it would be 'a bad look' - he doubted that, but said if it was true it was appalling, and that anyone suffering from mental health issues should be encouraged to get the help they need. I'm hardly a Piers Morgan fan, but I'm also not a fan of this new world we live in where people claim to have read something but what they really mean is they've read what the press have let them read. You only have to look at the Oprah interview and the headlines they flashed up in the background - cutting out the context (and in some cases whole lines) and completely misleading those that were watching. The media are toxic manipulators and so many of us just lap it up.
A lot of what you said was what he backtracked on the day after once the controversy had occurred. Have you actually listened to what he originally said on Monday, mate? The royal correspondent calls him out on it at the time and he doesnt make any effort at this point to clarify his supposed views that hes more shocked about the lack of support. He only did that yesterday. This is despite the correspondent saying to him you can't say shes lying about feeling suicidal. Sorry but if that wasn't my view Im pretty sure id be clarifying that immediately! Susanna is clearly disgusted with his views too and says he cant say that so it is not only the media that has misinterpreted it but his own colleagues sat next to him! It's from about 2 mins 30 in...
I saw it at the time mate and I still don't see him saying she was lying about being suicidal. Take the 2:30 part you mention, and he's asking for names of who she spoke to, what she told them, etc. and said he didn't believe it. When the correspondent says 'you can't say she's lying about feeling suicidal' that was more of a statement than a directive or question (in my opinion). I'm not saying his approach to this is good, just calling out the context which time and time again gets missed because everything is condensed in to a tweet or a clickbait headline.
