Good luck can you still get a hard on after prostate removal? I collapsed on Monday night clutching my chest. Ambulance took me to hospital. Had chest x-ray, bloods n' ecg all came back normal. Apparently it was an anxiety attack caused by bottling things up. Glad it's so easy to share things on here. Best wishes :)

Good luck mate. And well done in bringing this to the fore.
I got mine a couple of years ago and thankfully everything ok.
I also got my prostate checked. Ok a doctor sticking his finger up my arse to examine in not nice but it might have saved my life.
My father died of prostate cancer and I think perhaps ignorance. But this was 36 years ago.

My Dad had a psa test. Turned out it was just an enlarged prostate.

I believe all our prostates enlarge as we get older

My dad died of prostate cancer at 82. When I approached my doctor for advice a few years later he seemed reluctant to check or test me (obviously didn't like the look of my arse and I can understand that.)
He said PDA tests were unreliable and could result in unecessary surgery. He said come back when you get any symptoms.
I haven't shown any symptoms yet but after reading this I might pester him again. Thanks and good luck!

Ach just leave your dignity at the door and let the doc who has done it all before get on with it.
I’d imagine it’s worse for him
