Running on empty a lot of the players, and hardly surprising. Brittain needs a rest, Mowatt also looked exhausted. A decent point under the circumstances.

More importantly, we're down to 91 as the potential maximum points for the season. I was sure we'd go up on 93, but now it's starting to look a bit hairier.

I'm really pleased tonight. Really pleased that we are disappointed not to have won our 8th game in a row.

Some years recently it's been more like 8 losses

It was, but due to general circumstances and our current league position, I'm happy to cut them a lot of slack. They've deserved it.

FFS give him a break, he’s hardly played recently, and come on late in a difficult game. Yes I know he still has a lot to prove in a Reds shirt, but why slate him in a match day thread?

Not easy on the eye. Horrendous conditions. Superb from Brad Collins. I actually thought it was a foul on Dike.

    Good point, on we go.

I've always said that the Glavin, McCarthy, Aylott, Banks team of the early '80's is the best Barnsley team I've ever seen. However, in the 1981/82 season, we played Derby on Easter Saturday. We drew 0-0 and the game was so bad and devoid of any skill that Yorkshire Television (who had selected the game for it's highlights show the next day) had to apologise on the Sunday as there were no highlights, especially in the first half, to see!
So poor performances happen to the best Barnsley teams.
Oh, and Brad Collins was my MOTM.

Whilst tonight was not pretty to say the least, this season has surpassed my expectations, and probably many others on here. Given some of the comments I dread to think what will happen should we not make the playoffs or automatic. I for one am enjoying the season and this team have been outstanding so far..

I wouldn’t say they had us sussed other than keeping a tight reign on Dike, I felt it was more of what we didn’t do rather than them preventing us. They certainly looked more of a goal threat second half, but that wasn’t hard to do with our lack of goal threat. O-0 about right

Well said mate. We wanted mid table obscurity as a target this season. We've done that and more, just gone 10 games unbeaten and in a playoff spot on merit.

Seeing as it's de rigueur on here to put the blame on an individual the poster doesn't like or rate, I think Mike Flynn & Paul Gibbs were totally at fault for us not winning tonight!:D

Some upset Derby fans on their full time Facebook post....

Ben Haynes shocking isn’t it, cheering a point at Oakwell. Barnsley essentially a League 1 club historically.

Dread to think what this board will look like if/when we get beat on Saturday. Some posters are off their heads.
