I don’t mean people driving, although they are a lot of cars too, I mean people out and about in Headingley. The streets are literally rammed with hundreds of people all walking along, there’s 3 independent coffee shops and there’s always queues about 30 deep at each one and has been the entire time no matter what time of day. There’s loads of places doing takeaway food and so all the benches around are full of people eating. You would never, ever think there was a pandemic on if you pass through there, you would think it was an event day if anything.
That's the problem with the silly lockdown idea. Instead of allowing people to eat or shop socially distanced it forces everyone into a few select establishments allowed to open
They need to stretch their legs I assume. I'd rather they were fully alert from having a change of scene than causing accidents on the roads.
