    Dear South Coast Tyke, welcome aboard and if like me, have to have a daily fix of reading this site to try and keep up on the local Barnsley FC gossip. Lets hope that is it not too long before you can see the reds in action again. Southampton is not too far away(maybe not wishful thinking). I know Pompey fairly well, serving in Royal Navy for 30 years. I now live on the Isle of Man, so have not watched the Reds live for a while. I did see Oakwell a couple of weeks ago when visiting Mum in Poggy. You never know we could bump into each other at Oakwell. COYR!

    I reckon so mate, I don't see any other reason why anyone would live here, I've been here 16 years, been based all over the UK and Pompey (imo) is definitley the arm pit, could be the arse crack of places i have lived ha ha

    Welcome to the pleasuredome. Lived in Tennyson Road Copnor then married patch in Rowner. Took half the Mess to. Pompey v Tarn and got some ..,.... Banter lol. Favourite was .
    They came out of the tunnel in their red and white, they looked just like Man Utd. Then they put the ball on the floor.
