Thomas' loan spell doesn't appear to be going to plan as it's reported he's been fit since last week and hasn't been involved in any of the squads for the last three games.

"Luke Woolfenden, Mark McGuinness, Luke Matheson, Freddie Sears, Luke Thomas, Aaron Drinan and Armando Dobra are all fit and training but were absent on Tuesday..." from the East Anglican Daily Times on March 13.

He needs to figure out how to play in different systems, and be more decisive with his final ball, or he’ll never get anywhere.

And as it stands now, we only have 1 player out of contract at the end of the season, and the only loanee we have, there's an agreement in place to sign him permanent.

Credit has to go to the board for moving us in that general direction.

Reading between the lines it looks that Luke Thomas might be returning from his loan - link

Cook said: “I’m sure the club will be making announcements on these guys, so I’ll leave that to the club if that’s okay. Luke’s a different sort of situation. He’s had some personal issues that had to be dealt with away from football. We certainly wish Luke well."

Let's hope he recoveres from these 'personal issues' and comes back stronger.
