I couldn't agree with you more.

I had the news on in the background for PMQ's and I had to do a double take as DePfeffel started to suggest how the culture in the UK should change while chastising a former head of prosecutions about sentencing for his stance. This from a philandering superinjunction invoking scumbag who has treated women appallingly, including his former wives, and allegedly his never to be intended, to the point he seems to have cheated on every one of them and doesn't even know how many children he's responsible for. And thats before you look at his benches and the number of suppressed investigations and criminal conduct. I suspect a few shifted in their seats as DePfeffel gave tepid suggestion that charges for abuse and sexual assault should be increased.

And thats just his character. Before we even get to these insane lazy poorly structured pieces of legislation that cater to perception of jingoists who care little for detail and how it could affect them in future.

Never has a more dangerous group of "politicians" been offered so much power with so little ability to curb it under so little scrutiny with so many cronies and sycophants in tow.

This is just the start. The BBC and Judges will soon have their time to be attacked and neutered more.

Dismay in these very dangerous times.
