That's now 5 consecutive 2nd Tier Away League wins - a new record

Also, 12 League games unbeaten in the 2nd Tier, which ties the previous best (2001/2)

This is on top of what we already have done this season:
Most consecutive 2nd Tier Wins (Seven)

Longest time without going behind in matches (945 minutes)

Smashing all records to smithereens. I'm Loving Valerien Ismael

    Up the Reds :)

It would be even more enjoyable if someone cut all the camera cables.

We’ve scored 3 goals in each of our last 3 aways as well.

If you’re still not enjoying the football right now, I’m sorry but I think you need to find a new hobby.

Watching Keef 'Ill's side knock it around at the back like prime Barcelona, get caught in possession, concede, and then have him call the fans cůnts, is way better than this 28 points out of 30 nonsense.

Much rather sweetly roll over, than steamroller all in our path.

    Ismael out!

Football is results based mick McCarthy and warlock have made careers out of direct football. Better than playing lee johnsons possession style and getting sucker punched

Our style of play doesn't really fit into any category, it's not hoofball and it's not tikka tikka. We need a new name...

I wish I could, I truly do. But it’s always about the way we play than the result for me. And this is the ugliest most horrible football I’ve seen a Barnsley side play through choice, ever.

And that is really hard to stomach.

But this is it... forget the points. The style Hill played was better to watch and crikey he had some poor players to work with.

When you start to look at what you’re watching, it’s reliance on set pieces, hoofing the ball aimlessly, long throws, kicking territory, awful time wasting, head tennis, hooking the ball blind, long balls to the opposition keeper when passes are available.

If everything is all about result and not about how, in every sphere of life, you reach the bottom very swiftly.

The positives, the energy, we don’t cheat as much as other teams, but dives and timewasting are worse than I’ve seen from a Barnsley side. And points. And that’s all there is.

Unfortunately, we can't spend the millions and millions it would require to be able to build a team capable of playing brilliant, attacking football AND be this far up the table. We've had to use what we've got to the best of it's strengths.

We still score some nice team goals, we knock it around well in dangerous areas, but we've added grit, physicality and pure shithousery and we're killing it. I've never seen us rattle a team like that last night - I absolutely loved it. And you can guarantee last season we'd have been the ones rattled by Wycombe's antics. Along with all the other games where we'd have been commended for playing some nice football and given a pat on the head after another defeat.

I absolutely love it at the moment and not playing pretty triangles in the middle of the pitch is a small price to pay for being 5th in the table.

I didn't see the game last night but it sounds like a repeat of Millwall, Birmingham, Derby. That type of football is dreadful. We proved again against Bournemouth that against teams that play football we can actually play and be effective. Anyone who tries to match us though and it's a horrible race to the bottom.
I'll be paying my tenner on Saturday and hoping Moore sets them up to try and play football.

I think, maybe, you're believing all the "hype" and talk of our style from Rooney et al that we're playing "long ball" rather than watch us play in games. All these years we've complained about teams "old manning" us to wins and conning us out of points. And I've just watched a team last night called Wycombe with the most outrageous sh1thouse tactics, which they got away with by the referee, because they couldn't handle being outplayed by the Barnsley team.

Fowls said he'd gone defensive so I'm not sure much football will be played.

Fingers are crossed Helen. I read a few comments on their forum saying he was trying to get them to play it out from the back.
    We'll see Saturday.
