I hate that we are winning so much. So hard to watch us at the minute. Rolling teams over. Bullying the bullies. Scoring three goals in three consecutive away games at this level for the first time ever is terrible to see. Unbeaten runs stink. Recording nine away wins at this level in one season for only the third time in club history is shameful. I bet they make it 10 and earn another club record as well. The horrible gets. No doubt we'll do the double over League One-bound Sheff Wednesday next, just to add to the misery. If they end up promoted, then, well, I will be disgusted. Each to their own and all that.
Me too. That's not to say we play great every game, but we never have, no matter what style and system we've played. No team ever has. Sometimes we play great, it's fast and exciting and we win possession back in the opponent's half over and over again, quickly bearing down on their goal. Sometimes it's all a bit meh. Just like it always has been. But we get more good performances, more entertaining games and more good results than I've ever seen before. And even when it's meh, we still seem to win. We usually play well and win. Sometimes we're a bit crap and we win. Both are infinitely preferable to playing crap and losing and I've seen hundreds of those performances and results over the years.
