In 9 weeks - possibly. Today's Covid 19 statistics show a rise in Barnsley to 183 cases per 100k people for the week ending 15th March. This is 4x the national average of 45 per 100k for the same period.

No you don't you're running round Locke Park with a pram and a missus most of the week, trying to kid his mates he's supping.

Might not mean the same if you don’t work in hospitality, but this was a speech our government are incapable of giving after turning their backs on hospitality.

They ought to ban the politicians that voted for the lockdowns from the pubs. They will hve to go cosy up their HOP bar.

3%-5% of cases from hospitality but allowing us to get together and talk about the **** thats going on is what they wanted to stop more likely.

It's not just the drink tho........... like you say.

I've been to the pub most days through lockdown (mi bird has one and lives there). No beer on like but could take some tinnies. But that's not the point. It's the social aspect I miss. People I see 3-4 times a week and more in some cases and haven't seen them in a year. Old boys whose sort of lifeline and part of their routine their local boozer is. The young uns in their formative adult years who meet up Friday after college-work for a game of killer pool and milk the dukebox.
The lads who worked their ****** off on building sites etc in 25 degree heat and call in for a swift one after work. Been 3 deep at the bar from dinnertime on a Saturday before the pub empties on the run up to a 3 o'clock kick off.... then empties until 5 o'clock when then it's full again of fans disecting the details of match. The couple on a Sunday who call in after dog walking and have a few before going home for Sunday dinner. The lads n lasses who play in the band's. My best mate of 30 years who I've only seen at funerals.

Long live the pub. It's more than just having a pint. When I was doing a driving job pre lockdown id call in just for a few pints of pop just for the crack and banter.

    Roll on April 12th .......

Cases are irrelevant if no one is dying or being admitted to hospital in large numbers.

    As for the cases themselves.

The hisk risk age groups have hardly any new cases.

The low risk upto 50 year old is where they are at.

And they are already after a little mini spike looking like they are starting to fall off again.

My daughters just got herself a job at one. Massive outdoor area and I reckon she'll be busy, especially if we have a warm spring like last year.

If the industry has ever deserved a beautiful spring and a scorching summer then it's this time.

On Tuesday after work I went out for my first pint at a bar this year after a change in the rules here opened bars and moved the curfew from 9pm to 11pm. It felt good but strange to be out in public after so long. After working so long from home I almost forgot to change out of my pajamas.....

How does a scuba instructor work from home?
Do you keep banging your head on the living room floor? (Would insert the smiley ‘just kidding’ face here if I knew how)

Is it just me that thinks it's hypocritical of the Scottish Tories to be pressing for her to resign for breaking the ministerial code when Mr Johnson is still there even though the Speaker has called him out for misleading Parliament?

    If you’re lucky.

Ferguson is starting to chelp about the rising cases in Europe being translated to the uk.

Johnson can blame Jonny foreigner for derailing his route map.

Waste of time for me. Had Covid mid October and lost taste and smell. By Christmas that was replaced by everything tasting and smelling really bad, and almost 3 months in, it’s still not gone away.

I tried some of the whisky I had bought at Christmas and it tasted like soap suds

Even running tap water smells like turps and deodorants smell like fly spray.

And some say it’s just like flu........
