We always lose at loftus road. And Hillsborough. We always lose when opportunity knocks and pressure shifts from survival to hope. We always lose when we’re on a good run against the worst team in the league having beaten a top team.... But this team (irrespective of style) have turned that completely upside down. But then we have Sheffield Wednesday with no hope it seems in an absolute mess in awful form against a team who’ve won 9 in 10. All logic and reason say home win. But any Barnsley fan knows history and how logic and reason have failed us in this fixture many times. If we win this.....
Not so sure, it's a derby game as you say & they are scrapping for their lives, don't think it's going to be easy by any stretch. I'll be starting at 14:00 with a couple of stiffeners & then onto the Cider, hope it's a celebration & not a sorrow drowning exercise.
I predicted 3-0 in the matchday thread. I'm feeling so unfamiliar confident I can truly even see 7-0. However. There is still that niggling feeling that someone like Jordan Rhodes will pop up with a hat trick to prove to someone he is not a washed up has-been after all. 0-3 and a burst bubble is still in the realms of possibility
The good thing is that no matter what happens we will still be in the play offs. I knew they'd lose to Norwich and I feel the same about today. Worse case scenario and for some reason we can't find the bet and they manage to. So what? They're still doomed!
