No criticism from me, a poor game but there's more than enough credit in the bank at this stage. The international break has come at the perfect time (well maybe after Wycombe would have been the perfect time...) but I can't wait to see us rested and champing at the bit again against Reading.
We just had 2 long journeys down south and back ,probably lads not in bed until early hours Thursday morning, rest up and go again
I don't doubt the 'knee jerk' critics will be venting their spleen, along with those who rarely post when we win, but come out of the woodwork when we lose. We're still in a Play Off place, we're still 5th, we lost in the league for the first time in two months today. But it still won't be good enough for some.
The more important game was not today. It's Reading on Good Friday. proper six pointer.....and we can do Reading., I thought we had the measure of them at their place until Micky Helik got sent off. COYR!
Results didn't harm us today, Bournemouth got to fit in another game during another rammed schedule after international break. Said before the last 6 games, if we're in the mix or in the playoffs come the break get ready. I'm still of that belief, we may need to tweak our approach during that time. Teams will set up to play over the top. I trust the lads and Val to sort it. Beat Reading and today will be a distant memory.
