This is not a dig by no stretch of the imagination as what Val is doing at the minute is unbelievable.

Half time chasing a game we bring Halme on? We are so light weight in squad depth its amazing how we are where we are.

Really must be a boring night for you spell checking everyones posts on a Saturday night. Weve all been supping since 2pm, the odd spelling mistake is welcome.

 

I think midfield is the only area that lacks depth. Think squad is fine in all other areas.

 

Don't think there was any malice there mate. Just a bit of gentle ribbing methinks. We all need to smile this evening if poss.

Sorry, it just conjured up an image of a scrawny mongrel running riot on the pitch! I make enough typos myself so certainly wasn't a criticism. Or a dig (or dog!)

Would be nice to have a combative midfielder to break up play and dictate the game. Would allow AM a little more freedom

Didn't really need a midfield yesterday. Might as well have strung a volleyball net across the halfway line.

 

If Kane isn’t available on good Friday, I wouldn’t be surprised to see brittain moved inside to replace palmer, like he was against Brentford

 

I agree that it was a questionable substitution, but I wouldn't say we lack squad depth. If anything, the squad is as deep as I can ever remember it to be honest.

Ordinarily we'd have had Kane come on at that point, or Styles move inside and Williams come on. You could make the argument that we're probably lacking one more central midfielder, however when everyone is fit, I think we're struggling to pick just 9 subs, our squad is that deep at the minute.
