    Tykes TV accused of being racist. Having watched these lads for quite a while, I have never heard them ever being racist. James and Luke have my full backing after listening to the comments.
    They're now thinking of packing it all in.

    They have a good thing going there and typical keyboard warriors making ***** insinuations.

    The fact they had to contact the police and BarnsleyFC shows what kind of a weekend they’ve had, and you wonder why mental health is rife at the minute.

    @whitey I hope they have the full backing of the club.

    What was apparently said? Apologies if its on the video, but I'm not watching 13 minutes


    Fwiw I like Tykes TV and the lads doing it are clearly very passionate about the club and usually call things as they are, football-wise. I was very grateful for their matchday vlogs pre-Covid when I couldn't go.

    He said “w*nk *******” some people heard it as “black *******” he had reacted to a football result and a bet he had placed on it not going to plan.

    He definitely said “w a n k”

    Watch from 2:55 for a minute - that's the bit. It's clearly not racist. Sad for them about this - completely unjustified.

    I suppose if you heard it at the time it could sound like what was accused. And it did need to be highlighted. However, I watched the explanation video and it's clear that wasn't said. Hopefully this will now be put onto whatever site highlighted it.

    Keep going with your channel lads. Nothing racist was said and it's clear as day on the footage that nothing bad was said. Don't listen to the keyboard warriors and I am sure our club will get back to you with their full support.

    Keep going lads after listening what was said the only people who should take offence if anybody is the Newport players. Absolutely bizarre what people complain about.

    Why is it bizarre that people complain about racist language , particularly as its an ongoing issue in football( I know in this case it wasn't, but that is what they thought they heard presumably?)

    100 % correct. I watch this channel quite often, and enjoy it; they seem a decent bunch of lads. Really hope they continue.

    Apologies are due from those making false accusations, but I do realise that would be too much to expect.

    It explains what some people thought they heard but now an explanation has been given. All that's needed now is for that to be added to the original accusation.
