    I hope you are OK. We disagree on stuff, (mostly politics) but as an 'old gimmer' I can tell you, life has ups and downs some 'downs' can be pretty dark places (I am speaking from personal experience here). However bad you think things are, as you can see on here, there are lots of people who genuinely care about a fellow Reds fan. Ultimately friends, family, health, a roof over your head, food and keeping warm are the only real important things in life. The rest is just 'fluff'.

    Just remember JP, you're never alone. There's always someone to talk to, even if it is a stranger on a football forum. A problem shared is a problem halved, and my mailbox is always open.

    This is an open invitation to anyone going through a rough time at the minute, who feels they've nowhere to turn.

    When I was at my lowest point, I felt like I had nobody to talk to. One day, I had a call from a sales person from EE. I informed him that I was trying to reduce my outgoings, not increase them, and before I knew it, I was telling him all of my problems. Rather than, try and get off the phone as quick as he could (the lad was probably on a commission), he listened to me, and empathised with me. A complete stranger. That was the first step in me getting back to a happier place.

    Brilliant to see the earlier posts and the subsequent response from JP.

    For somewhere where so much trivial stuff is spouted, and petty arguments are had daily, it's fantastic to see that it's populated with so many decent people who were willing to reach out like that.

As the saying goes, it is good to talk and every now and again everyone needs to let off steam and open up.
