No BFC game 2 weeks until we can have a beer in a car park or have a scrum in Primark. What on earth is there to look forward to?
Gardening on allotment. Couple of tinnies and that's it. I'm a happy boy I've done that for years. Oh and a 6 mile walk. Make it what it is ......
Gunna start by apologising for my bombastic posts. Wish Peachy well. It's gunna be weird having a free weekend and interacting with George and Laura none stop. I'd be a liar if I said I was looking forward to a weekend without Barnsley to hide behind. This season's been brilliant until we lost last weekend. I look at George and think how can I feel the way I do. The fact is I get up at five. Get a shower, go to work miss my family then when I get in feel so numb I don't know what to do. I spend time using this message board during the day while I'm at work. If I dint do that I'd go mental if I wasn't already. I ramble so much I forget the point. Anyway never lose that trigger that snaps you back into life. Even if a little light flickers of who you were, are or want to be.
I batch cooked a large amount of traditional Hungarian goulash last night for the fridge and freezer, so I'm looking forward to scoffing that over the weekend. Ingredients for the culinarily talented (must be exact as per this perfect recipe): Some beef, questionable quality Some onions Some peppers Taties; sweet taties if you're George Spicer Shít loads of paprika Them orange things that grow in mud that Rudolph likes Memories of István Ferenczi Gonna be great for my immune system, I know it.
Dog walk then settle down to free practice and qualifying for first moto gp of the year on Sunday from Qatar
Hopefully if it dries I’ll be treating the decking...and no that doesn’t involve buying it chocolates and a romantic meal before anyone asks
It’s my birthday so I’ll be having a lovely quiet day with my wife and daughter, with plenty of treats ordered in starting with Dishoom bacon naans.
